To do this, start by going to display properties in the Control Panel. Go to the Web tab and make sure the "View my Active Desktop as a web page" is not checked. Next, hit the Folder Options button on that tab. On the General tab of folder options, check the "Classic style" setting. If you also installed the 98 version of TweakUI, open it in the Control Panel. On the IE4 tab, remove the checks from "Active Desktop enabled" and "IE4 enabled." If you don't have the 98 version of TweakUI installed, you'll find it on your CD in the \tools\reskit\powertoy directory.  If you have 98 SE, TweakUI for 98 is not on the CD.  You can find it at this site:  http://www.winmag.com
