The MVP Pages
Many of the Microsoft MVP's have their own web pages. Besides the knowledge base, their pages are excellent sources for information. Here I have listed the ones that I am aware of, including a very brief description of the topics that they cover on their pages. You can also find more links to other mvps at www.dts-l.org and www.mvps.org/links.html. I will continue to add more pages here as I learn of them.
Asbjoern Aamot - Visual Basic. Also quite known with Dos, Win3.1x, Win9x and NT. Active in newsgroups, especially the Norwegian ones.
Ron Badour - Desktop Systems. Ron is an excellent source of knowledge when it comes to the Windows interface. He knows everything from customizing Explorer to look just how you want it, to getting the icons you want for your folders and drives, to getting the best out of the PowerToys from Microsoft.
Lee Chapelle - Desktop Systems. If you need help partitioning a drive, Lee is the man to turn to. On his web page, he includes tips on how to partition your drive as well as your choices of third party utilities to help you out.
James Eshelman - Desktop Systems, Windows 95 and 98.
Jon Hildrum - Desktop Systems. Lots of good links as well as Jon's own tips. He also has a Spanish version if you're interested.
Tom Koch - Internet Explorer and especially Outlook Express.
Don Lebow - Windows 95. Info on text editors, HTML, DUN and Hawaii.
Ron Martell - Desktop Systems. On-Line Help Computer Services. Ron has his own business helping folks with computers. He includes some good tips and info on his site.
Eric Miller - Outlook Express and Internet Mail and News. Eric's sight will give you the complete history of Internet Mail and News and Outlook Express, the mail and news client that is include with Microsoft Internet Explorer. Find there also tips for getting the spell checker to work and many others.
Sue Mosher - Outlook and Exchange solutions center.
Scott Sanford - Windows 95 and NT. Scott has his own business helping those with Windows 95 and NT. He includes many of the best tips for both operating systems on his page.
Kelly Theriot - Windows Troubleshooting & Support for Windows 98 & XP
Steve Winograd - Windows Networking. Steve is very knowledgeable about Windows networking from Windows 95 through Windows XP. Check out his Networking FAQ.
